Correcting Mistakes in Wills: Rectification

This month’s CPD will discuss the concept of rectification of wills. We will look at when rectification may be necessary, what kinds of mistakes it can fix, and the law surrounding when it may be carried out and what requirements need to be met. We will also consider many real case examples of when rectification has and has not being possible and to appreciate how this remedy has been developed since its introduction in 1982.
