Siobhan Rattigan- Smith

Siobhan has worked for the SWW for over 3 years and is a technical adviser and lead tutor for the College of Will Writing. She took over the SWWEPP course in January 2018 having also taught practitioners attending the Sure Will Writer – Drafting for Success(ion) workshops.

Siobhan has presented at countless regional group meetings, and at the SWW’s annual conference imparting her knowledge to active professionals.

Craig Ward

Craig Ward is a solicitor, author, mediator and trainer. He has a degree in Psychology and is a member of Solicitors For the Elderly and the British Psychological Society. Craig is author of Lasting Powers of Attorney: A Practical Guide (2nd Edition) 2011 The Law Society. Craig advising on; Elderly and community care law, Mental capacity law, Court of Protection litigation and applications, Wills, trusts and probate, Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney and Mediations.

Adam Johnson

Adam is the director of Heritage Will Writing and New Forest Wealth Management. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Adam spent time working in Parliament as an agent organiser whilst he completed degrees in Politics & International Relations and a Master’s degree in Political Philosophy.

In 2006, he established New Forest Wealth Management Ltd, a practice with St. James’s Place Wealth Management, and Heritage Will Writing, a separate legal services company. Adam has worked hard to develop a unique breadth and depth of knowledge and is fairly technical in terms of his approach.

Adam is a Society of Later Life Advisers Partner specialising in long-term care advice. He is also an expert in tax and trust planning and holds the advanced CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) paper in taxation and trusts. Additionally, he is a Fellow of The Society of Will Writers and holds the Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation with The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Adam has direct personal experience of the care sector as he has continues to be the primary carer for his 92 year old grandmother who he has been providing living in care for the past 8 years.

When not at work, he races sled dog teams, plays for and manages a local league football side, and tinkers with his growing collection of motorcycles.

Antony Brinkman

Antony Brinkman entered the Estate Planning industry in 1999 when he established The Willwriting Partnership with his two other partners. He has been an elected member of the Society of Will Writers and Estate Planners since 2008, and in 2014 took the decision to volunteer his time as the regional Chairman for the North West, on behalf of members in his area and in an effort to help increase the knowledge and standards of his group members.

He has delivered presentations on Estate Planning to thousands of people over the last several years, has appeared on Radio and in social media, bringing the merits of using specialist Estate Planners to the general public. STEP qualified, he has trained will writers, solicitors, financial advisers and accountants in Estate Planning best practices and as a member of the Professional Standards Board, now aims to help increase the overall standards of the industry at large.

Antony leads the Advanced Instruction Taking course.

Rob Newman

Rob is an accountant by trade but has built 3 multi-million pound businesses. This places him in the ideal position to teach his course ‘Business Growth Bootcamp’ which gives you insight into how to build your business. Rob also leads the Estate Planning for Business Clients course which gives you information about advising any clients who have business assets or may need to make provision for their business.
