Gifts of Pets in Wills

A testator who has pet animals is often concerned with what will happen to those animals in the event of their death, often wishing to leave some provision in place to make sure the animals needs are met or they’re placed with an appropriate animal charity. In this month’s CPD paper we will be looking at the different ways a testator may wish to deal with their pets in their will, what problems they may face and how to overcome them.
