Charitable Gifting in Wills

In this month’s CPD paper we will be examining the benefits of charitable gifting via wills. Some basic concepts of charitable bequests will be discussed but the main focus will be on the use of clauses gifting 10% of the testator’s net estate to charity in order to qualify for a lower rate of inheritance tax (IHT).
