Course
SWWEPP
Practitioners Course 3 day duration
SWWEPP – Society of Will Writers Estate Planning Practitioner.
This is the most advanced course available to Will Writers and only
practitioners who have a minimum standard of relevant education and
experience may apply for this course.
The course is designed exclusively around the use and understanding
of trusts. The course also concentrates on the taxation of estates
both whilst alive and the use of lifetime settlements and post death
will trusts and the costs involved in running these trusts and whose
liability for payment of taxes etc.
There are practical examples and work to help in the use and
understanding of the many Will trusts which exist today and despite
intervention from the CTO still work to mitigate IHT and other
taxes.
The examination is taken at the end of the course and is of two hour
duration and a minimum of two case studies undertaken during the
course will count towards your final mark.
Once successfully completing this intensive course you will be able
to call your self an Estate Planning Practitioner and as a member of
the Society use the designatory letters SWWEPP.
For further details, cost and availability please email
or telephone 01522 687888.
This course is held only 3 -5 times each year and only at Lincoln.
