Advanced Trusts Course

This 2-day advanced course is for practitioners who require a more in-depth knowledge of trusts, the law that underpins them, their uses and pitfalls.  (You need to have some knowledge of trusts before attending this course)

The course will assume a working knowledge of the normal will and lifetime trusts that most estate planners use daily and build on that.

Importantly the course will focus on what happens when a trust comes into force, including taxation, trust registration and trustees’ liabilities.

Please note this is not a “how to sell trusts” course, and its focus is instead on the technical aspects of trusts arising after death or on set up for lifetime settlements.
